Highlands Hope Umbrella

 

This picture was taken in Njombe, Tanzania in October 2014 in relation to YOUTH PEER HEALTH EDUCATION – YPHE in primary schools is one of the projects conducted by Highlands Hope umbrella and McGill University School of Nursing Canada as a part of their programs on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment. Explorations 2014

Explorations 2014 Mission Statement

Explorations 2014, hosted by the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, is an annual one-day conference for health professionals from all disciplines, including clinical practitioners, healthcare managers, researchers, educators, and university students.

 

The overall goal of the conference is to provide an opportunity for participants to exchange specialized knowledge and explore innovative ideas and approaches primarily directed toward improving clinical practice that results in achieving excellence in patient care.

 

The conference is planned and organized by knowledge-users associated with McGill University faculty of Medicine to improve health services and strengthen the healthcare system in Canada.

Explorations 2013 Mission Statement

Strengths-Based Nursing Care: Health and Healing for Person and Family by Laurie N. Gottlieb, has been awarded first place in the 2013 AJN Book of the Year Awards in the Nursing Education / Continuing Education category.
